More Prayers Needed
Today turned out to be not as good as we had hoped. We are asking for prayers for Riley, as her lungs are struggling. Her ventilator and oxygen had to be turned up, which has put a great deal of strain on her lungs. A chest x-ray confirmed that her lungs are working overtime and the increased pressure from the ventilator is causing some damage to her very fragile lung tissue. We are awaiting word from the doctor as to the next step in Riley's treatment. Please keep Riley in your thoughts and prayers tonight.

Riley is often in my thoughts and prayers. She has shown such courage and strength, just like her family. I didn't know that your first child was a preemie as well so you didn't need my NICU advice as you're already experts. We send special blessings to your beautiful daughter!

Jen and John, my heart goes out to you and your family. I think about your little Riley all the time and hope that this little miracle of a daughter will soon be out of the woods. I am sure she is a little fighter just like Peyton. You and your whole family are so strong; it must be in the blood. :o) Riley is absolutely beautiful too!

I wanted to let you know that our family is thinking about you each and every day. At night when I say my prayers, I include little Riley, praying that God continues to heal her and make her strong. She has already proven to be a fighter, and I know that she will keep it up because so many people love her and can't wait for her to come home. She is beautiful, and the staff up at Sacred Heart is fantastic, especially that little Joanie!! Take care and know that if you need anything, I will be here to help!
